Many non-profit organizations need money, but most
need more than just money. They can be more effective in delivering
on their missions from having greater access to the professional services
and assistance that are readily available to "for-profit" companies.
This, in part, is why we will gravitate to helping organizations who ask
for more than money. The organizations who recognize their need for
our services and/or the services of our "network" rather than only our
funds will tend to be our focus.
AND, to extend what we might be able to do in providing services beyond
our immediate reach and lifetimes, we will seek out ways to support the
development of skills and life long service commitment in
Youth.

Tumaini Mission Center and Bethany Children's Home
In 2004 The Beech Foundation followed a call to organize an inter generational mission trip to Kenya and partner with other organizations and churches working there. What started as a short term mission has become an eternal commitment. God has lead us with several partners and individuals - from five different states, various denominations, many different nonprofit ministry organizations - to help six churches in Nakuru Kenya establish a new joint ministry: Tumaini Mission Center and Bethany Children's Home. The reality is that HIV/Aids and other tragedies have left three million children orphaned in Kenya. The country has turned to people of faith to help. We partnered with the PCEA Nakuru West network of local churches to purchase 30 acres of land in January 2006, opened the first wing of the children's home in January 2007 with 56 children as a beginning - ultimately 400 children will be nurtured along with a Primary School, Secondary School, Clinic, Chapel, and much more. We will be there again and again - a part of a blessed Bridge Building Effort for years to come. Click here to read more details then join us in prayer and action! (PDF - 175 KB)
